dog mushing and puppies or yukon suspension bridge
Five hours will allow you to travel 100 miles round trip allowing you to have plenty of time at one attraction along the way. Iditarod musher and Yukon Quest Champion Michelle Phillip's summer dog mushing training camp is a northern classic experience. Pet adorable puppies and zen like sled dogs, take a cart ride and help them train for winter races, and learn about what it takes to compete in a grueling 1000 mile sled dog race. Or you can choose to visit the spectacularly scenic Yukon Suspension Bridge attraction. Cross the metal hanging bridge over the raging Tutshi river and possibly catch a crazy river kayaker trying their luck in the class 5 rapids. The site has a small cafe with bison chili and some sandwiches, snacks and sweet little gift shop for the retail lovers in the group. Cross the bridge and check out the trapper's cabin they have set up on the other side of the canyon.
This is a great tour to have a little break from driving to experience something very unique and spend some time in nature.
If you wish to do both dog mushing and visit the suspension bridge we do offer a 6 hour option to fit it all in.
Admission required at either location and payment is possible onsite by credit card. Multiple photo stops.

6 hour emerald lake tour-- $900 private minivan
One of the best tour options for visitors to Skagway. This full day tour brings you the best of the area and still gets you back with plenty of time to explore Skagway and Dyea. Travel up the spectacular Klondike Highway and past the White Pass summit.
