CHOOSE YOUR DEPARTURE TIME.
Skagway Private Tours can help you plan your day to take advantage of windows of less traffic and avoidable delays. Early is best! To avoid the rush hour of large buses choose a departure time of 7:30am. 8-8:30 is a major excursion departure time and the road can become quite busy. With only one road out of town getting stuck behind slow moving buses up the mountain can cost us an hour of driving and stopping time. With tighter Canadian border restrictions we need to arrive early and depart before the masses.
Skagway Private Tours will not schedule tours if the return time is too close to your ship's all-aboard time. There is no need to feel time pressure while on vacation. Flexibility in departure time may be possible on slower days so please inquire about flexibility.

HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: Storage space in the minivan is limited. Motorized scooters and wheelchairs may not fit in the van. Most tour stops have good views without leaving the vehicle.

VISITORS TO CANADA MUST FILL OUT THE ARRIVE CAN APP WITHIN 72 HOURS OF TOUR DATE. ARRIVE CAN APP MUST BE DONE BEFORE ARRIVING IN SKAGWAY AND EACH PERSON'S INFORMATION MUST BE UPLOADED TO THE ARRIVE CAN APP.
FULLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS MUST HAVE VACCINATION CARDS AND PASSPORT INFORMATION UPLOADED TO THE ARRIVE CAN APP (and onhand during crossing) ALONG WITH A CANADIAN ADDRESS FOR THE QUARANTINE REQUIREMENT QUESTION in the Arrive Can app (We are using the Skyy Hotel 91622 Alaska Hwy, Whitehorse, YT Y1A 6E6, Canada)
Once documents are uploaded to the ArriveCan app you will be provided a QR code which will be required upon arrival at Fraser and presented to the border officer with your Passports/Vaccination cards. TAKE A SCREEN SHOT OF THE QR CODE RECEIPT OR PRINT IT OUT AS THERE IS NO CELL/INTERNET SERVICE AT FRASER CUSTOMS.
TIME IS MONEY....BE ON TIME
Customers who arrive late to our scheduled departure time, who forget passports/visas/vaccination cards or who have failed to fill out the Arrive can app prior to our departure time will be cutting into their overall tour time at their expense. If this happens the tour may not be able to go as far as originally planned or may need to cut out stops or other opportunities to make up for time loss. Please be on time with your required documents.
If passengers decide on an early return, no refunds will be given for unused block of time. Customers who are turned away at customs for any reason will not be reimbursed for unused time. If this happens, Alaskan side options will be presented as an alternative for the remaining time. (FYI in 8 years no one has ever been denied entry to Canada however with the scrutiny given to the ARRIVECAN app and supporting documents we are in new waters...)
VEHICLE OR GUIDE SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Illness happens. Mechanical problems happen. In the unlikely event that your intended guide is ill and should not be driving your tour will go on with a substitute guide. This guide will be carefully chosen to give you the best tour possible. Skagway Private Tours will find an alternative company to provide your tour if our own guides are not available.
In the unlikely event that a mechanical issue rears its ugly head your tour will be conducted in a substitute vehicle. If the limo was booked at the upgrade price, you will be issued a refund for the difference in vehicle cost.

Full refund less $50 office fee will be issued if you cancel 14 days in advance or more from your scheduled tour date.
50% refund if you cancel 7-14 days in advance less $50 office fee.
No refund if you cancel within 7 days of departure time.
GOODWILL BONUS: for guests who must cancel and who lose 50-100% of their booking fees a $250 credit will be available for use on any 4+ hour tour option good through the next calendar year. This is non-transferable and original booking member must be present for the future booking.
